Starting from the 1st January 2015, it became illegal for companies to use any HCFCs to service RAC equipment. As a result, it is forbidden to use any HCFC that has been either recycled or reclaimed. As such, the implications for major HVAC systems still using R-22 are far-reaching. As responsible refrigeration engineers in Hampshire, we are working closely with many of our suppliers to keep the company up to date and trained on specific R-22 replacement products.
We have now decommissioned 100’s of systems across the country for ourselves. In addition, we are also currently registered with the following organisations:
Institute of Refrigeration
Plus, we have more trade memberships pending, for example, MCS for air source heat pump energy assessments.
We are committed to being at the forefront of our industry and compliant with all recommendations and regulations surrounding the control of substances involved in our industry. Decommissioning is just the start of the process. We now have the infrastructure to deliver high-quality installations using premium systems.
